Today for class we went to the Louisiana Museum (MOMA)... It was SO amazing! We got to wander around for an hour. Myself and the rest of my studio (there are only 8 of us) wandered around outside, took pictures of us all together, and even fell down a few hills... (it was rainy and super muddy!) The landscape is so beautiful and it was so much fun to wander around and explore!
Then at 3 we had a guided tour through the architecture exhibit which was pretty awesome! There is this awesome building that a Danish designer is doing in NYC that will be complete in 2014 that is just absolutely amazing. I hope I'm around to see it when it's done! (Meaning I don't know where I shall end up after graduating, haha)
We got to play in this awesome cube-like structure. I'm pretty sure that was my favorite part. I also realized, architecture students are so boring. They all just followed the guide, looked at the pictures, and took notes. My friends and I in "information design" climbed on the stuff, wandered around, and played with the exhibits. It was so much better. Especially since the guide was just reciting what was written on the wall details.
I bought a set of Andy Warhol prints. I don't know what it is, but I just love his work. I feel like there's a sense of humor and mockery in his work towards culture at that time. It's fantastic.
So now I'm home, and exhausted. Christian and Helle keep giving me all the magazines about Copenhagen and design so I have a lot of reading to do, haha. I also have to go to studio tomorrow to work on a fashion week poster. I HAVE to finish that tomorrow before I go on my study tour! I'm trying to convince myself so that I actually go tomorrow. I'll probably ride my bike so I can stop at Fisketorvet to get some food for the trip.
So anyways... I guess I'll end it there since it's dinner time!
Lesson for today......... try some new food. I'm pretty sick of bread w/ butter.
