“Often I question, ‘Why am I doing this?' I guess architects are eternally optimistic. You think that somehow you will prevail. It just takes stamina." Richard Meier
I've never been the type to keep a journal, write a diary, etc. I'm more of the type to just express my feelings out loud and proud (I'm an extrovert, an extreme extrovert). I tried journaling about my experiences, but really just could not get into it. Finally over this past summer, I got into it. I started journaling everyday over the summer about anything that popped into my head. I never realized how many thoughts pop into my head in one day and how chaotic it must seem to people who try to have a conversation with me (thanks for putting up with it). So, "blogging" has become a personal way of organizing my thoughts and making them mean something. You can talk all you want, but to sit and try to understand yourself is a whole different level of meaning. It's helping me to understand myself and the world much better without giving everyone a headache.
