Last night Helle, Christian and I had some delicious chocolate cake that Helle baked and we watched Afrika Nu. It was a TV show to raise money for poor areas of Africa. It was interesting and I learned a bit more about Danes and such.
This morning we biked to the Carlsberg brewery. We took a tour around the museum. It was interesting learning about beer and its importance throughout the decades. At one point, many people in cph drank it because the water was not good and needed to be boiled, so they drank beer! We saw the draft horses, which were adorable! Then at the end we got coupons for beer/soda. I had a Carlsberg classic beer, at 10am might I add! It was okay. I'm not a big beer fan, but of course it's very popular and historical so I had to try it.
After we went back and had lunch I went into the city for a walking tour about Hans Christian Anderson. We walked around for about two hours. I also tried to do studio work (I have to study/analyze street and road signs) while we were on the tour. I love learning so it was cool to learn about the old parts of the city and what it was like to live back then. At the end I ended up meeting a few nice people! I don't really know many people yet so now I know 3, haha. We had really good hot chocolate from a cafe near/on the Stroget at the end of the tour.
On the bus ride home I noticed a ton of people drunk on the streets. One guy was even throwing up... gross... And so now I am home again! I'm tiered... Boo... It's almost dinner time and then it will be bed time for me!
So lesson for today........ don't get drunk and walk around the city. It's generally a bad idea anywhere.
