I leave for my two week travel break on Monday! I cannot believe I'm going to Rome, Paris, and Berlin. This whole entire experience just seems so surreal, it's crazy!
I enjoyed a nice long weekend with Christian's family in Jylland, as explained in my previous post. I got some not so good news from home as well, but everything is OK! It's hard to be away from home when things happen, but even if I was home there's not much I could have done. It's life, I suppose.
Tuesday was Joanne's birthday! I wasn't going to go at first, but I convinced myself to since I actually haven't been out yet. I know, what kind of college student am I? Basically the complete opposite of everyone else, especially in the "I love to learn" department, haha. But we had a good time and I met some new people =)
Wednesday/last night, Lizzy, Emma and I cranked out details for our trip. We got flights, buses, and hostels booked! And because I'm a control freak, I printed out all the confirmations for EVERYTHING, haha. I'm SO SUPER PUMPED to go to Disney! Which is probably lame to some people because I'll be in Paris, but I just love Disney! I can't help it. It's become a developed issue over my childhood and into my adult years. I just can't get enough, haha. But it's okay. It runs in the family.
I'm kind of getting overwhelmed thinking about packing. So I'm waiting until Sunday to do it so I can just lay everything out. It's hard to pack 1 suitcase for 3 different weather conditions!
Helle's mom came and spent a few days with us so that she could go to Jacob's daycare. She gave me a Christmas decoration from her friend that passed away. It's so pretty!! So now I have my first piece of Christmas in Denmark =) Oh, and also those little pastries with berries and sugar. Those were so good!
I'm supposed to go to a Halloween party this Friday, but I'm not sure if I'm still going to go... I think I may just go for a bit. I'm actually more excited to see what Halloween in like in Rome!
Ciao, au revoir, tschüss?, and farvel!
